About the Journal

Lingin Journal of Linguistics is peer-reviewed and open access biannually (May and November). Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur in Indonesia has been publishing it since 2023. A scientific journal article published in the Lingin Journal of Linguistics presents the findings of the research, a review of the literature, and a book review on the advancement of science, which includes the investigation of research questions with immediate or broad application that significantly advance our understanding of human language as a system of communication or a phenomenon involving cognition, social interaction, and history. This journal covers issues with meaning and usage (semantics, pragmatics, critical discourse analysis, forensic linguistics, language & gender, educational linguistics) and grammatical organization (phonetics, phonology, morphology, and syntax).

The study of linguistic systems, such as those used in speech, singing, writing, and other forms of communication, as well as language users and their communities (such as psycholinguistics,  sociolinguistics, clinical linguistics, computational linguistics, anthropological linguistics, linguistics landscape, neurolinguistics, and all research articles related to linguistics issues), can also be covered in articles. The article's focus may be on one or more languages. It may have a synchronous or diachronic viewpoint, employ qualitative or quantitative research methods, and use an exploratory or confirmatory approach to its methodology. Lingin Journal of Linguistics accepts manuscripts written in complete Indonesian and English and processes original manuscripts submitted regarding the linguistic scope and not published by other publishers.
